On May 26th, we were notified that my father-in-law had been admitted into the Salem Hospital. When we arrived, we were given the devastating news that he had suffered a large brain bleed that was inoperable and non-survivable. The next day it was determined that there was no longer any brain activity, declaring him brain dead. On Friday, May 30th, my father-in-law will be taken off life support and begin a new journey. Through organ donation, he will continue to touch lives and be a blessing to many in need.
Jorge was a kind, selfless soul—a caring father, cherished son, brother, friend, and most recently earned the title of grandpa to our son, Sebastian. His absence will leave a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Now, as we come to terms with this heartbreaking loss, we are reaching out to our family, friends, and community for support—both emotionally and financially.

El 26 de mayo, recibimos la noticia de que mi suegro había sido ingresado en el Hospital de Salem. Al llegar, los médicos nos notificaron que había sufrido una hemorragia cerebral importante, inoperable e incurable. El 27 de mayo, se determinó que ya no presentaba actividad cerebral y que ya no podía respirar por sí solo, fue declarado con muerte cerebral. El viernes 30 de mayo, mi suegro sera desconectado de soporte vital y comenzará una nueva etapa. A través de la donación de órganos, seguirá viviendo y será una bendición para muchos necesitados.
Jorge era un alma bondadosa y desinteresada: un padre cariñoso, un hijo querido, un hermano, un amigo y, más recientemente se ganó el título de abuelo de nuestro hijo, Sebastián. Su ausencia dejará un profundo vacío en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron y amaron.
Ahora, mientras afrontamos esta dolorosa pérdida, pedimos a nuestra familia, amigos y comunidad apoyo, tanto emocional como económico.
